The last day of the Tre Golfi Sailing Week gave perfect sailing conditions: 8 to 10 knots WNW wind entered from midday and increased up to 12 knots in the afternoon.
This was the ORC fleet's third inshore racing day. The "Race" Group finished one race only, as the first was abandoned: "Yes, we let them start even knowing the wind was not established yet, willing to do two races today- says POR Francesco Coraggio – but it was too risky for the bigger boats, so we decided to stop the race."
A, B, C, and DClasses have completed two spectacular races under a classic clockwise roteded wind, with the fleet sailing compact and four to five boats crossing the finisching line at a few seconds of distance.
As usual, the C and DClasses windward leg was shorter, which increased the spectacularity as they arrived at the downwind gate together with the A and B Classes.
In conclusion, the races were enough to assign both the ORC Med and the Nazionale del Tirreno Championship.
The Tre Golfi Sailing Week winner and ORC Mediterranean Championship is the Marco Serafini's TP 52 Xio, followed by Roberto Monti Blue and the Swan 42 Mela, owned by Andrea Rossi.
Thanks to two first places in the today's races, in the smaller boats Race Group, the winner is Sugar 3, owned by the Estonian Ott Kikkas, while Anton Giulio Cafaro's Ars Una and Squalo Bianco won Cruising Class 1 and 2.

It is mandatory that all activities must be held under the provisions to contain and control the spread of COVID-19 as issued by the Italian Health Authorities and by FIV. These provisions will be applied by the OA and all participants, crews and guests must comply (DPI).

Protocols and prescriptions regarding COVID-19 may be published at any time. They will state as if they have the status of a rule.
All participants are required to make themselves aware of all protocols regarding COVID-19 set forth by the Italian Government, Healthcare Authorities, Sports Authorities and/or the OA and must comply with those prescriptions at all times during the event (DPI).
Competitors and support persons shall comply with any reasonable request from an even official or OA. Failure to comply may be misconduct (DPI).
The OA may postpone or cancel the event at any time if it considers that this is required by reasons related to COVID-19. Competitors are not entitled to claim any compensation for any expenses they have incurred for their participation or preparation for participation in the event.
