The Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia, organizer of the Tre Golfi Sailing Week, is pleased to announce that the entries for the 2024 edition of the IMA Maxi European Championship are now open.
Based in Sorrento, the Championship will open on Friday May 17th, 2024, with the long distance race on the same course of the 69th Tre Golfi Regatta, the legendary 150 nautical miles event that will start at 16.30 off the Naples' iconic castle.
The IMA Maxi European Championship will then go on with the inshore regattas from Monday May the 20th to Thursday May the 24th.
The Municipality of Sorrento has renewed its willingness to host the event in its iconic marina, with additional mooring space capable of berthing even the bigger maxis, up to 100 feet.
